New Delhi : The Zambian boxing squad, which is in Delhi to participate in the XIX Commonwealth Games, (CWG) is looking forward to strong competition from the Indian boxers.
?Our boxers have worked hard for Delhi 2010. The four-hour training schedule focuses on endurance and fitness training, tactics and mock bouts,? said coach Wisdom Mudenda. ?I am hopeful that Brian Mwabu in the 52kg category and Martin Chibela (60kg) will showcase their best. Indian boxers will be in good shape and we look forward to them being our toughest competitors across categories.?
Mudenda further said Ghana will also offer a strong challenge to them. He was hopeful that the young Zambian sensation, Christopher Katanga in the 49kg category, will surprise the competition.
