Dubai : Australia registered a commanding 94-run win in the third and final Twenty20 International against Pakistan after losing the first two games.
A record 111-run opening stand between David Warner (59 runs off 34 balls) and Shane Watson (47 off 32) setup Australia’s total of 168 for seven in 20 overs.
In reply, Australia’s quicks immediately had Pakistan in trouble and they couldn’t recover, dismissed for just 73 in 19.1 overs. Pat Cummins snared three wickets for 15 runs while Mitch Starc took struck thrice conceding 11 runs.
Australia will depart for the World T20 in Sri Lanka Wednesday.
