BCCI extends Duncan Fletcher’s contract by one year
Mumbai : The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) decided to extend the consortium of Duncan Fletcher as India’s cricket coach by one more year. Emerging out of meeting held in Mumbai, Chief of BCCI, N Srinivasan said the Fletcher’s contract has been further renewed by one more year.
The decision of renewing the 64-year-old Fletcher’s contract, which was due to end at the end of this month, was taken by BCCI’s committee. According to media reports rumour was rife about Fletcher’s performance outlook after India lost ten Test matches including a home series against England.
