Cardiff : England beat Pakistan comprehensively by 6 wickets in the second and final T-20 International at Cardiff and also clinched the series 2-0.

Pakistan was all out at 89 runs in just 18.4 overs.

Chasing 90 runs for victory, England reached the target quite comfortably with 36 deliveries as well as 6 wickets in hand.

England too did not get e great start with loosing two crucial wickets with just 26 runs on the score board.

S Davies was the first to go, scoring just 9 runs.

His wicket was taken by the Shoaib Akhtar.

Craig Kieswetter (16) was soon to follow him after playing some good strokes.

He hit 2 fours and a six in his innings.

The 31-run partnership between skipper Paul Collingwood (21) and Ravi Bopara (12) helped the side in moving smoothly towards victory.

But when every thing was looking smooth and easy Collingwood and then Bopara departed.

England at that stage was 63 at the loss of 4 wickets, 27 runs still needed for victory.

The 5th wicket pair of Morgan(18) and Yardy (6) contributed 27 to smoothly reach their team to a second consecutive T-20 International win over Pakistan.

Both Morgan and Yardy remained unbeaten till the end.

Among the Pakistan bowlers, Umar Gul looked completely out of tune as he got a good hammering from the English players.

He gave away 23 runs in the 2 overs he bowled in the match.

Shoiab Akhtar, Afridi and Saeed Ajmal took one wicket each.

Earlier, Pakistan?s captain Shahid Afridi won the toss and chose to bat first.

But once again the Pakistani batsmen failed with their bats, as none of them clicked in this match too.

Opener Kamran Akmal and Shahzaib Hasan did not provide the batting side the much needed start.

Kamran was first to go, he made only 11 before his wicket was picked up by Bresnan.

Experienced Mohammad Yousuf (4) followed him soon after; his wicket was also taken by Bresnan.

After that, the Pakistan top- order collapsed like pack of cards, with none of the batsmen contributing with the bat.

Umar Akmal was the pick of the batsmen as he scored 17 in just 13 deliveries.

He had hit 2 sixes in his small innings.

Skipper Shahid Afridi failed in this match too as he could only score 2 before getting out to Broad.

Umar Gul provided a bit of momentum down the order as his 16 runs in 13 balls made Pakistan post 89 runs on the board.

English bowlers bowled well today with Bresnan being the pick of the bowlers.

He took 3 wickets by giving only 10 runs in the 3.4 overs he bowled in the match.

R Sidebottom, S. Broad and spinner G. Swann took 2 wickets each in the game.

The English bowlers bowled well to bundle out the Pakistan side in 18.4 overs.
With this win the T-20 World Champs also clinched the series.

Earlier, in the first T-20 match too England had defeated Pakistan by 5 wickets on Sunday.

Pace bowler Tim Bresnan of England was named the Man of the Match at the end.

Truly, with this loss the situation for the Pakistan side will become tougher with bad luck following the team both within and outside the field.
