CSK vs KKR Final : KKR win IPL 5 final
Chasing target of 190 runs, Kolkata Knight Rider has grab IPL-2012 cup by 5 wickets M.A. Chidambaram Stadium at Chennai. This is first time when KKR reach final and won IPL title.
Bisla (89 runs in 48 balls) and Kallis (69 runs in 49 balls) had 136 runs partnerships in just 82 balls after losing wicket of Gautam Gambir in first over.
Chennai Super Kings captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has won the toss and choose to bat. Hussey(54 runs in 43 balls), Vijay(42 runs in 32 balls), Raina (73 runs in 38 balls) strike high and scored very well in early overs but CSK couldn’t managed to get enough runs in last overs.
The Knight Riders went home richer by $2 million in prize money and the Super Kings received $1.5million as the runners-up.
Manvinder Sultansingh Bisla was awarded for man of the match.
Chris Gayle from Royal Challengers Bangalore receives Orange cap while Morne Morkel from Delhi Daredevils receives Purple cap.
Rajasthan Royals team received fair play award and received by team captain Rahul Dravid.
