Lalit Modi hearing postponed to September 26

New Delhi : The hearing of the alleged corruption charges of suspended Indian Premier League (IPL) Commissioner Lalit Modi has been adjourned till September 26 as the cousel for the accused wanted some more time.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI)’s Disciplinary Committee comprising Arun Jaitley, Jyotiraditya M Scindia and Chirayu Amin on Wednesday conducted inconclusive cross examination of Peter Griffiths.

A BCCI release said the hearing was adjourned after Modi’s counsel ( Mr Kotwal) wanted some more time.

The next hearing is on Sep 26 at 3 pm at Hotel Taj Palace in New Delhi.

The hearing will continue on September 27 and 28 and if necessary a session of the hearing will also be held on the following day in Mumbai.
