Mysore : Left arm spinners Veerasammy Permaul (5/85) and Nikita Miller (4/61) bowled West Indies A into a commanding position against India A, who trailed by 314 runs overall at close of play on the third and penultimate day here Friday.
Resuming their first innings at the overnight score of 124/3, India A collapsed after Permaul trapped top-scorer Manpreet Juneja (84, 151b, 11×4), who added 75 runs for the fourth wicket with Harshad Khadiwale (27).
Thereafter, it was a regular procession as Permaul and Miller came up with a two-man act to dismiss India A for 245 to provide West Indies A a first innings lead of 184.
The visitors then stretched the lead to 314 by stumps, making 130/3 in their second essay after skipper Kieran Powell (68, 88b, 9×4, 2×6) and Kraigg Brathwaite (34) put on 112 for the first wicket before falling at the same score.
Off-spinner Parvez Rasool trapped Brathwaite in front and then Rajat Paliwal removed Powell. Rasool went on to pick up another wicket, that of night watchman Narsing Deonaraine (9) at which stage, the stumps were drawn for the day.

West Indies A moved into a strong position as they restricted India A to 123 for three in their first innings in response to the visitors’ total of 429 at stumps on the second day of their four-day game, here Thursday.
Overnight 264 for 5, the Windies extended their innings thanks to Assad Fudadin (86, 201b, 10×4, 1×6) and some gritty batting by Nikita Millier (49, 86b, 5×4) while off-spinner Parvez Rasool came away with a haul of 5 for 116.
In reply, the home team lost wickets at regular intervals with opener Lokesh Rahul (46, 100b, 7×4) held one end up while he lost partner Jiwanjot Singh (16) and skipper Cheteshwar Pujara (3) before being dismissed after putting on 60 runs for the third wicket with Manpreet Juneja who was batting on 47 (77b, 7×4).
