IPL 3:Deccan Chargers won by 13 runs vs Royal Challengers Bangalore

Harmeet Singh’s economical over and Rohit Sharma’s 51 runs innings gave 13 runs win to Deccan chargers and save hope for semi-final.

Royal Challengers Bangalore won toss and chose to field in Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium, Nagpur. Royal Challengers got three early wicket of Deccan chargers by Steyn in just 14 runs of team score. After wickets of Gibbs (12 runs in 10 balls), Gilchrist (0 run in 1 ball) and T Suman (0 run in 1 ball), Monish Mishra and Rohit Sharma has made 82 runs partnership.

This partnership is broken by no communication while taking run in Appanna over. Mishra has made 41 runs in 30 balls including 1 fours and 3 sixes before run-out by steyn’s accurate throw to keeper.

Andrew Symonds played good strock in ground but failed to read Kumble bowling and stumped out by Uthappa and ends his innings at 20 runs in 19 balls.

Taylor (1 run in 5 balls), Virat Kohli (3 runs in 4 balls) and White (4 runs in 3 balls) were not able to make good partnership with Uthappa. Uthappa’s two sixes helped RCB to achieve target to 18 run in 12 balls.

Here turning point came into game and Harmeet Singh has bowled good bowling and show pavilion way to Uthappa (34 runs in 20 balls) and Steyn (0) in continuous 2 balls of 19th over.

Deccan Chargers made 13 runs win by making opposition team to all out at 138 runs in 19.4 over.
