Jayanta Talukdar moves to semifinals in World Cup archery championship

Edinburg/Kolkata : India’s Jayanta Talukdar sailed into the semifinals of the World Cup archery championship here defeating Italy’s Michele Frangilli in men’s recurve on Sunday.

A report reaching here in Kolkata at Archery Association of India said Talukdar beat fancied Italian archer 6-4 in a stiff competition.

Talukdar would now meet top seed Brady Ellison of the USA to keep India’s challenge for gold medal.
