Kolkata girl Shivika Burman-Dalila Jakupovic in ITF Mandya quarterfinals

Mandya (Karnataka) : Kolkata girl Shivika Burman partnering Slovakia’s Dalila Jakupovic moved into the quarter finals of the ITF Mandya Open by beating the British pair of Alpay Ige and Natasha Starling.

The British pair were bested in a thriller 5-7,7-5,10-5 in the tie break in the double pre-quarter final play here on Monday.

Shivika, also playing in the singles, will play against Emily Webly of Great Britain on Tuesday.
