IPL-3:Kolkata Knight Riders won by 14 runs against Delhi Daredevil

Ganguly and Gayle made KKR to reach 181 runs and Dinda-Mendis succeed to stop Delhi Daredevil at 167 runs.

In important match for KKR, Kolkata knight riders won toss and choose to bat first. Chris Gayle and Saurav Ganguly has made 94 runs partnership and gave good start to KKR. Gayle (40 runs in 21 balls) was bold by Bhatia in 11th over. Ganguly has made 56 runs in 46 balls before he was being bold by Vettori.

Quick games by Manoj Tiwari and Methews has made KKR to reached 181 runs in 3 wickets.

In return, Delhi Daredevil has done good start. Sehwag has made quick 64 runs in 40 balls while Gautam Gambhir has made 47 runs in 29 balls but after following of their wickets, no one stand on pitch except karthik (20 runs) for long time and Delhi failed to chase 181 runs and made only 167 runs by loosing 8 wickets. In KKR bowling, Dinda and Mendis has taken 2-2 wickets while Agarkar and Abdulla has taken 1-1 wicket.

Saurav Ganguly has been awarded “Man of the Match” for his 56 runs contribution in just 46 balls.

After winning this game, KKR has kept its 5th position by 10 points after Chennai Superkings 4th position by 10 points.
