Maniram Sharma of Karnal eased to a four-stroke win at the PGTI Feeder Tour event played at the Aravalli Golf Club in Faridabad on Wednesday.

Maniram shot a two over 66 in the third round to win with a total of one under 169. Roop Singh of Chandigarh finished second at three over 173.

Maniram?s (42-61-66) 66 in the final round included a birdie on the ninth and three bogeys on the first, second and 10th. The Karnal golfer has now won three titles in the 2010 PGTI Feeder Tour season and has established a comfortable lead in the Order of Merit race.

Maniram said, ?The win at Phillaur last week gave me a lot of momentum ahead of this event. The fact that the Aravalli Golf Club used to be my home course at one point of time also helped my cause. It?s great to have won three titles in the same year. These victories have spurred me on to achieve more success in the future.?

He added, ?My short-game was totally off-colour today but I hit it really well. I hit a beautiful lob wedge approach shot from 84 yards to within a few inches of the pin for my only birdie of the day on the ninth.?

Roop Singh (39-69-65) of Chandigarh, the first round leader, finished second at three over 173 while Prem Nath, another Chandigarh golfer, finished a further stroke behind in third.

Rajesh Choudhary, Divyanshu Bajaj, Som Nath and Prakash Tomar were tied fourth with identical totals of seven over 177.
