Sushil Kumar to miss Asian Games

Indian wrestling star Sushil Kumar is all set to miss the Asian Games next month as he has decided to prepare for the upcoming Olympic Games qualifiers.

Sushil Kumar has decided to take a break from the Asian Games that is going to take place in China in the coming month, in order to recover from the shoulder injury that he suffered during the World Championship and prepare for the tough season which includes the Olympic Games qualifiers, reports said.

Indian wrestler Pradeep Kumar will participate in the 66kg category event at the Asian Games next month in the absence of the Sushil Kumar, reports said.

Sushil Kumar had a spectacular year as he won both the World Championship as well the Commonwealth Games gold medal.
