Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi has finally returned to the country from London this morning has connection with a case against him for making alleged hate speeches last month.
The MIM legislator will appear before police 144 in Nirmal town of Adilabad district till 6 pm today, about 200 km from here, later in the day in response to a notice issued to him for recording his statement in connection with the alleged hate speech he delivered in the town while addressing a public meeting with the police.
The police in Nirmal last week booked the 42-year-old Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) MLA under Akbar Owaisi filed three FIRs under three sections of the Indian Penal Code(IPC) – 121 (attempting to wage war against Government of India), 153A (promoting enmity between groups) and 295A (outraging or insulting religion and religious feelings or beliefs) – against Owaisi in Hyderabad, Adilabad and Nizamabad.
