Patna : Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Wednesday hinted that he might not contest the Assembly elections this time.
?There is no need for me to contest the Assembly polls. I am already a Member of Legislative Council and have two-three years left to complete the term,” Kumar told reporters here.
The Janata Dal (United) leader said he would concentrate on National Democratic Alliance?s (NDA) election campaign to re-elect it to power in Bihar.
“I will concentrate on electioneering for the NDA so that it gets a second term in office and complete development works in Bihar,” Kumar said.
The Assembly elections in Bihar are scheduled in October-November.
