Ahmedabad : As many as 70 visually impaired people participated in a blind car rally organised in Ahmedabad on Sunday.
The cars covered a distance of 72.6 kilometers with a blind navigator assigned to the drivers. The navigators guided the drivers through the entire route with the help of instructions given to them in Braille.

A visually impaired man along with the President of Blind People’s Association, Bhushan Punani, flagged off the rally.
There were eight marshal points along the route and the cars were required to cover the eight segments in a specific time frame. The rally aimed at motivating and inspiring the visually impaired people.
