Himachal: Several feared killed in truck dive

Shimla : At least 24 people are feared dead as the truck that the were travelling in fell into a 150-feet deep gorge at the Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh.

Some reports put the number of casualties at 30, saying that the truck was carrying about 40 people on their way to a marriage function in Sherpur.

Local reports say poor road conditions and bad visibility coupled with the rain could have caused the accident.

Authorities are on site and rescue operations are on.
