BSF shot dead intruder in J&K border

The Indian troops guarding the country’s northern sector on Friday repelled an attempt of another ceasefire violation, killing an intruder, official sources said.

Border Security Force (BSF) personnel,who noticed an international border violation at Pargwal area of Akhnoor sector in Jammu and Kashmir, opened fire after the unidentified intruder defied halt order.

The ambush party of the BSF also came under fire, and the shootout lasted about an hour since 4 am, the sources said.
