Bus mishap kills five in Jammu
At least five people were killed and many wounded critically when a chartered bus carrying a marriage party to Ramnagar veered off the road and rolled down into a gorge in Jammu and Kashmir’s Udhampur district early on?Thursday, police said.
They said the accident happened around 1:30 am when visibility was poor?and roads were covered with mist.
Besides the five death, some 20/25 people were wounded in the accident.
The vehicle was speeding towards Ramnagar from Jammu but fell off road near?Garnie village.
The injured, with the help of local people and police have been shifted to?hospitals.
The search?continued to find out?any possible survivor in the deep gorge where bus turned upside down, police added.
