Curfew restrictions have been lifted from entire Kashmir Valley, said the police on Wednesday.
?Preceding night passed off peacefully. Situation at this hour is normal and under control throughout Kashmir Valley. There are no reports of any untoward incident reported from any place,? said Jammu & Kashmir Police.
?Authorities have today completely lifted the curfew restrictions from the whole Kashmir Valley,? the police said.
Meanwhile, one more injured miscreant identified as Rouf Ahmad Bhat son of Nazir Ahmad Bhat resident of Azad gung, Gulnar Park, Baramulla, had been shifted to Srinagar, late last night.
On Tuesday evening, miscreants had resorted to heavy stone pelting on security forces at Bagh-i-Islam, Baramulla, during which, eleven Police men including some senior Officers had suffered injuries in the incident.
In a separate incident, Rifle man namely Ram Prasad of 7 JAK Rifle died of some accidental firing at 161 Brigade Rampur, falling under the jurisdiction of police station Boniyar, Baramulla.
Boniyar police has initiated proceedings under section 174 CrPC in this regard.
At least 108 people were killed in anti-India protests led by the separatists in Kashmir since June 11, prompting the Centre to initiate talks with the various groups in the state, propose greater autonomy and depute an all-party delegation to the Valley.
