Eight troopers injured in chopper accident

At least eight armymen were injured when an Indian Air Force chopper crashed on the airport at Satwari on Wednesday, police said.

The wounded included three crew members.

The accident happened immediately after the Mi-26 helicopter took off.

The injured were rushed to the army medical facility at Satwari.

Police said technical snag was the primary cause of the mishap, which however, was not so serious of a nature due to low altitude impact.
