Grenade attack injures four in Kashmir

Four people, including a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) constable, were injured in a grenade explosion in Kashmir?s Sopore on Friday, said police.

?Today at about 10:30 am, militants fired a rifle grenade upon the bunker of 179 Bn CRPF near Bus Stand, Sopore which missed the target and exploded on a HT Electric Line, resulting in injuries to three civilians,? the Jammu & Kashmir Police said.

The injured have been identified as Mohammad Ayub Shala, Bilal Ahmad Langoo, and Mohammad Ashraf Bhat.

A CRPF constable named Anil Kumar of 179 Bn was also injured in the attack.

All the injured were hospitalized.

Police has registered a case in this regard.
