Srinagar, Nov 11 (IBNS) Curfew restrictions were imposed on Kashmir?s Baramulla district as precautionary measure on Thursday, said police.
?The day passed off peacefully. There were no reports of any untoward incidents from any place of the valley. Situation remained normal and under control,? said the Jammu & Kashmir Police on Thurday evening.
?However, curfew restrictions were only put in place at Delina and Palhallan areas of district Baramulla today as a precautionary measure,? said the police.
?There are no curfew restrictions elsewhere,? the police added.
At least 108 people were killed in anti-India protests led by the separatists in Kashmir since June 11, prompting the Centre to initiate talks with the various groups in the state, propose greater autonomy and depute an all-party delegation to the Valley.
