An alleged financial commander and coordinator of terrorist outfit Hizbul Mujahideen, Ali Mohammad Naik, was arrested on Thursday by the Awantipora Police of Pulwama district in Jammu and Kashmir.
Police said they have recovered Rs 1,00,000, one Chinese grenade, a stamp of Hizbul Mujahideen and some receipts of distributed money from his possession.
The arrested militant was coordinating different assignments of various modules of the terror group as well as providing financial and logistic support to the outfit for last two years.
Police said they were tracking him for quite some time.
