Three Hizbul suspects shot dead in Kashmir

Srinagar : Three suspected Hizbul Mujahideen terrorists were killed in an encounter with the security forces in Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian district on Thursday, police said.

District superintendent of police Shahid Mehraj said the security forces after tracking the down a group of terrorists, who defied an order of halting, began to fire on the forces and in retaliation three gunmen were killed at Chewan in Keller area, some 80 km from Srinagar.

The raid was conducted on specific inputs.
