Twenty people were injured in a road accident Monday in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district, police said.
The accident took place while the bus was travelling from Kupwara, 86 km away from Srinagar, towards Rednag Lalpora village.
According to the Kupwara Police Control Room: “A passenger bus was travelling from Kupwara to Rednag Lalpora village when the driver lost control over the vehicle which fell into the river flowing alongside. Twenty passengers were injured”.
The injured have been admitted to district hospital, Kupwara, where doctors said the condition of one of them was critical.
