Ultra killed in encounter

Srinagar : A suspected extremist was killed in an encounter with security forces at Kangan in Ganderbal district of Kashmir, police said on Wednesday.

The joint security forces of local police, 24 Rashtriya Rifles and the troops on a specific information had launched a combing operation on Tuesday night and spotted the ultras, who fired at them.

In retaliatory firing one of the ultras was killed as his body was found at Satharuna jungle.
