Maoist attack village council building in Jharkhand

Lohardaga  : In a bid to infuse fear among locals, Maoists triggered a blast on the building of a village council in Lohardaga district of Jharkhand.

The moderate-intensity blast damaged most parts of the building; however there were no reports of any casualty.

A warning letter written by the rebels was also found by locals at the blast site. Locals residing in the area said that they heard a loud blast in the night.
