Karnataka CM Yeddyurappa declares assets

Bangalore : Faced with corruption charges, Karnataka Chief Minister on Sunday declared his assets to silence the mounting opposition.

Initial reports said his assets included over 18 acres of agricultural land and 2.5 kg of gold besides commercial property and house in Bangalore.

The Chief Minister, tainted in a land scam allegation, had promised to declare his assets on Sunday.
