Three minor girls sexually exploited in Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram  :  Three incidents of minor girls being sexually exploited came to light in Kerala Tuesday amid the country and its parliament being outraged over the gang-rape of a 23-year-old woman in Delhi.

In one case, the father of a minor was arrested; in another, it was the uncle who was the culprit and in the third case, it was a neighbour, who is absconding.

In Thrissur, a 10-year-old girl became the victim of her father’s lust. “The accused has been arrested and he has confessed to the crime,” said a police official.

In Kollam, a 49-year-old man has been arrested after he molested his sister-in-law’s daughter.

The 13-year-old victim is currently undergoing treatment at a state-run hospital here.

The third case was reported in Malappuram district, where a Class 10 girl student was harassed by her neighbour who is absconding.
