13 people from Madhya Pradesh killed in two accidents

At least thirteen people from Madhya Pradesh were killed in two separate road accidents Friday.

In the first accident, a bus carrying labourers from Madhya Pradesh’s Ratlam collided with a dumper in Gujarat’s Kheda district Friday morning.

Eight people, including five women, died and 15 others were injured in the accident. All were residents of Borpada village of Ratlam district.

The other accident occurred in Madhya Pradesh. Five residents of Amjhera village in Dhar district died in the road accident while they were enroute to Tarkheri in Jhabua district.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has announced Rs.1 lakh compensation to the next of kin of each of the deceased.
