Five killed in Maharashtra accidents
Nashik : Five people, including a man and his daughter, were killed and 23 others injured in two separate accidents in Maharashtra, police said.
Three people were killed and 20 others injured when a tempo overturned near Dindori town, around 30 km from here.
“More than 30 people were travelling in a tempo when the driver lost control of the vehicle. Three (people) were killed as it overturned,” an official from Dindori Police Station told IANS.
Yashwant Kaatal, 50, his 20-year-old daughter Sonali and 35-year-old Anil Kuvar were killed, police said.
In another accident, two people were killed and three others injured when a jeep collided with a truck in Kolhapur.
