At least four persons were killed and several others injured after a portion of a multi-storeyed building collapsed in south Mumbai on Thursday.
The incident occurred at about 11.30 am Thursday morning when a part of ?Jamnadas? building in Bhendi Bazaar collapsed.
Cylinder blast in a scrap shop in the ground floor of the building is suspected to be the reason for the incident.
Four persons have been reportedly killed, though the toll could rise as four-six persons are still feared to be trapped in the debris.
Over 20 others sustained injuries in the incident.
Fire brigade officials rushed to the spot and are carrying out the rescue operations.
