Cops detain 13 girls in a bar raid in Mumbai
Mumbai : Acting on a tip-off, cops in Mumbai, have raided a bar and detained 13 girls along with the bar manager and customers.
The officials of the Social Service Branch of police arrived at the place and detained the girls whom they suspected of being minor.
DCP B G Shekhar of Mumbai Police said that the age of the girls would be determined only after medical tests were completed.
Prostitution is illegal in India, although it is a thriving underground industry.
