Disabled minor raped in Mumbai, one held
Mumbai : A deaf-mute minor girl was raped by two men in Mumbai, police said Thursday. One of the accused has been arrested.
“Two men raped a 15-year-old hearing and speech impaired girl in Chembur Wednesday. One of them has been arrested and is being questioned,” an officer of Trombay Police Station told IANS.
The victim lives in a slum with her parents in Chembur in east Mumbai. She has been sent for medical examination, the official said.
Police said that a case has been registered against the two accused. However, the officer refused to identify them or elaborate on the sections under which the case was registered.
