Two held by the Mumbai Anti-Terror Squad in German Bakery blast case
Mumbai: Two persons have been arrested by the Mumbai Anti-Terror Squad (ATS) in connection with the German Bakery blast case.
The arrests were made from Marathawada region of the state.
One of the held person has been identified as Himayat Baig, who is also reportedly wanted in a case related to the Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI).
The second person arrested is Bilal.
The ATS has recovered explosives and literature on bomb-making from the duo, who are suspected to have provided logistical support in the German bakery blast.
Sixteen people were killed in a blast in the Bakery in Pune on February 13 this year.
