In a freak mishap, a portion of an under-construction bridge and a bulky water pipeline, passing over Central railway tracks, collapsed on a moving train, in Thane on Friday, killing two persons and injuring 11.
The mishap occurred about 30 kms from Mumbai at 1030 am when an under-construction bridge, adjacent to existing Road-Over-Bridge connecting Thane from east to west, fell on a local train below.
