Bhubaneswar-Pune train from March 1

Bhubaneswar, Feb 23 (IBNS) The Indian Railways (IR) has decided to introduce a new weekly super fast train between Bhubaneswar and Pune with effect from March 1.

However, an inaugural run from Bhubaneswar will take place on Feb 24 with a special train and similarly on return direction a train will move from Pune to Bhubaneswar.

The regular service of this train will commence from Bhubaneswar from March 1 and from Pune from March 3.

The 12581 Bhubaneswar-Pune Weekly Super Fast will leave Bhubaneswar at 1015 pm on every Tuesday and will reach Pune at 05.00 am on every Thursday. In the return direction, the 12582 Pune-Bhubaneswar Weekly Super Fast will leave Pune at 11.15a.m on every Thursday and will arrive Bhubaneswar at 05.35p.m on every Friday.

This train has one AC-2 tier, one AC-3 tier, 08 Sleeper Classes, 04 General Second Class and 02 Guard-Cum-Luggage Vans in its composition having stoppages at Khurda Road, Brahmapur, Vizianagaram, Duvvada, Vijayawada, Guntur, Nalgonda, Secunderabad, Wadi and Solapur between Bhubaneswar and Pune.

The IR also decided an extension of the 18416/18415 Puri-Keonjhargarh-Puri upto Nayagarh with stoppages at Goaldih & Porjanpur with effect from Wednesday.
