Home minister RR Patil on Friday announced in the state assembly that the Hinjewadi gang rape case will be handed over to a fast track court and Ujjwal Nikam will be appointed as the special public prosecutor.Patil said that the rape-related cases that are pending for a longer period will be handed over to fast track courts and a request will be made to the high court to set up additional such courts.
