Earthquake jolts North East

Guwahati : A moderate intensity earthquake rocked parts of North East on Saturday.

No loss of live or property has been reported so far.

The quake, measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale, hit the region at 12.32 pm and tremors were felt in Assam and Meghalaya.

It was epicentred at Latitude 25.9 degree N and Longitude 90.2 degree E in the Assam-Meghalaya border.
