Jodhpur : A MiG-27 fighter aircraft of the Indian Air Force (IAF) crashed near Jodhpur on Wednesday afternoon.
?One Mig-27 aircraft crashed near Jaitpur, about 60 Kms South of Jodhpur on 10 Nov 2010, at about 1320 hrs,? said the IAF in a statement.
The aircraft was airborne from Jodhpur air base on a routine training sortie.
The pilot ejected safely.
A Court of Inquiry has been ordered to investigate the reasons of the accident.
