Six people died in Uttar Pradesh house blaze
Lucknow : Police said on Friday that six people died in a fire incident in Bareilly.
The tragedy occurred at a house near Kali Dham temple in the cantonment area. The deceased were identified as Bhuri (10), Durga (8), Saloni (17), Sanjana (15), Mahima (9) and Debu (7).
Prima facie the fire seems to have been caused by a candle which the family did not put off before sleeping, the police said. The elders of the family were away when the fire erupted.
An official said that the bodies have been sent for post-mortem and the parents of the children have been informed.
