Kolkata : Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee, apprehending reaction on the verdict Ayodhya title suit, appealed on Wednesday for maintaining peace and amity across the country.
The Ayodhya title suit verdict is scheduled on September 24.
“We are Indians and we all should keep faith in the judiciary and the court’s verdict,” she said.
Banerjee, also the Railways Minister, told reporters that all should keep faith in the judiciary, one of the pillars of democracy.
She also urged the citizens not to pay heed to any rumours.
