AP: Kiran Kumar Reddy dares Jaganmohan Reddy, supporters

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Saturday took an open swing at Y S Jaganmohan Reddy and dared the former Congress MP?s supporters to fight elections without his party?s tickets.

Saying that he was not ruling the state at Jaganmohan Reddy?s mercy, Kiran Kurmar almost seemed daring the son of former late Andhra CM Rajasekhara Reddy to pull down his government.

“No one is at anyone’s mercy here. I’m not at anybody’s mercy. Everyone who is here are at the mercy of Congress party,” he told reporters.

The fiery words come in the wake of Jagan saying that he was doing a favour to the Congress. He had claimed that if he asked his supporting MLA?s to break away, the Congress government in the state would crumble.

On Saturday, Kiran also dismissed Jagan?s allegations that the Congress had forver been unjust to his family. He said that Jagan?s father Rajasekhar Reddy had become the CM on both occasions thanks to Sonia Gandhi?s support.

After his desire to become the chief minister of the state following his father?s death was snubbed by his party, the rift between Jagan and the Congress has only widened by the day.

Claiming the support of 24 Congress MLAs from Andhra Pradesh, he has filed an application to the Election Commission for registering a new political party following his resignation from the party.
