Chasing 281, Sri Lanka made 283 for seven with four balls to spare. Skipper Mahela Jayawardene made 85 while Dinesh Chandimal scored 80.

Hobart : Australia made 280 for six with Peter Forrest (104) striking his maiden ODI century.
