CBI court convicts ex-UP Chief Secretary Neera Yadav to 4 yrs jail

Ghaziabad : A Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court here on Tuesday convicted former Uttar Pradesh Chief Secretary Neera Yadav in a land scam case.

The Ghaziabad CBI court held her guilty in the land scam as she was found indulging illegal allocation of land as chairperson-cum-CEO of Noida authority.

Plots were illegally alloted to Flex Industries Limited, the CBI said.

The CBI had registered the case on the orders of the Supreme Court.

She is the wife of BJP MLA Mahindra Singh Yadav.
