The minimum temperature in Chandigarh dipped to 5 degrees — two degrees below average — from Wednesday’s 6.4 degrees.

In Haryana, Narnaul was the coldest at minus 0.5 degree, seven degrees below normal. The mercury fell in Hissar from 1.6 degrees to zero degree.

“Though during the next two days, it will be sunny in both the states and Chandigarh, temperature variations will continue for the entire month,” Chandigarh meteorological department director Surender Paul told IANS.
