CSK defeats KTK by 11 runs
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) registered an 11-run victory against Kochi Tuskers Kerala (KTK) on Wednesday night at the MA Chidambaram Stadium.
Chasing Chennai’s score of 152 runs for the loss of five wickets, Kochi could only score 141 losing five wickets.
Brad Hodge tried desperately for the Kochi team with his well made unbeaten 51 runs innings.
But a lack of proper support from the other end spoilt the party for Kochi.
Ashwin was the most economical bowler as he picked up one wicket by giving away only 16 runs in his 4 overs in the match.
Earlier Dhoni and men posted a modest total of 152 runs for the loss of five wickets.
WP Saha played the first successful knock for Chennai on Wednesday as he remained unbeaten at 46 runs and was named the ‘Player of the match’.
Jaeja picked up two wickets for Kochi.
