Srinagar : The Jammu & Kashmir Police on Friday said situation across Kashmir Valley is ?normal? and curfew was relaxed at some places in Sopore in the morning.
?The preceding night passed off peacefully. Situation at this hour across Valley continues to remain normal and under control. There have been no reports of any untoward incident reported from any where,? said the J&K Police in a statement.
Meanwhile, strict curfew restrictions continue to remain in force in whole of the Srinagar city, Mirgund, Nadirgund, Budgam town, Choon, Humhama, Watadora, Gogoo, Ompora, Narkara, Sheikhpora, Galwanpora, Indra Gandhi Road, Chadoora, Charar-e-Shreif and Magam areas of District Budgam. Ganderbal, Kangan, Anantnag, Bijbehara, Kulgam, Qoimoh, Pulwama, Kakapora town, Shopian town, Pampore, Awantipora, Tral, Baramulla town, Delina, Pattan, Singhpora, Kunzar, Palhalan, Tangmarg, Tappar, Sopore town, Kralpora, Trehgam, Kupwara town, Kulangam, Chotipora, Handwara town, Sumbal and Bandipora.
However, in Chankhan, to Hathishah Bridge, Iqbal market, Noorbagh and New Colony, areas of Sopore, curfew restrictions were relaxed from 7 am to 10 am which was later re-imposed.
Meanwhile, The Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) will meet in New Delhi on Friday to discuss the Kashmir situation and the findings of the all-party delegation that visited J&K earlier this week.
In an ongoing separatist backed anti-India protest in Kashmir valley more than 105 people were killed since June 11.
