Duncan Fletcher has been appointed Coach of the Indian Cricket Team, for a period of two years, said the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Wednesday.
The Working Committee of the BCCI met at the Cricket Centre earlier on Wednesday.
“Mr. Duncan Fletcher has been appointed Coach of the Indian Cricket Team, for a period of two years. Mr. Eric Simons will continue as Bowling Coach,” said BCCI secretary N. Srinivasan in a statement.
The cash incentive to the members of the World Cup winning Indian team has been increased from Rs. 1 crore per player to Rs. 2 crores per player.
